Seriously? This is your first attempt at photomanipulation?? That's amazing! Great job I also have great interest in the violin with the fire and all, since I *do* play it. ^_^ I will give you a bit of suggestions though that would make it even better (even if I'm not the best photomaniper myself). Compared to the blacks of the rest of the piece, the birds you have flying in the sky are too dark. If the black matched more like that, say, of her skirt, then it would be better. Another thing would be wear the horizon transitions from field to sky. It's a bit stright-lined, not exactly blended or natural-enough looking. You might could blur the edge a little more (or erase it a bit with a blurred-edge eraser brush), and then perhaps you could darken it a bit to make the colors a little more blended-looking. Hope that helps a little Nice start!

hehe yes, this was my first attempt with photomanipulation I have used photoshop for quite some time, but that was my first photomanip

thank you so much for your suggestions, I actually never see mistakes, no matter how big they are, until somebody points them to me
so would you believe I haven't noticed that horizon line until you showed it to me? (and I "eeeek!"ed when I saw it )!
